2005–2007 APPLICATIONS MUST IDENTIFY WHETHER THE 48RE IS EQUIPPED WITH THE TTVA / THROTTLE ACTUATOR.

SELECT THE CORRECT TTVA OPTION WHEN ORDERING SO WE CAN SUPPLY THE CORRECT TRANSMISSION CASE.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION & SERVICE

• Check engine crankshaft end play before installation
• Inspect flexplate for cracks or damage
• Verify proper torque converter installed clearance
• External transmission cooler required
• Replace or properly flush complete cooler system
• Verify unrestricted cooler flow before operation
• Transmission temperature monitoring recommended for towing
• Verify proper TV cable adjustment on 2003–2004 applications
• Verify proper TTVA operation on applicable 2005–2007 applications
• Maintain proper fluid, filter and band service

4WD TRANSFER CASE SUPPORT

48RE transfer case support / mount available for 4WD applications. Recommended for towing and heavy-use trucks to help reduce load on the overdrive housing.
