Is the Twisted Pro 4L80E built for towing?

Yes. The Pro build is suitable for heavier towing and hauling when properly matched to the vehicle. A large external transmission cooler is strongly recommended for vehicles that regularly tow or haul.

What upgrades are included in the Pro build?

The build includes upgraded high-energy clutches, new steel plates, increased clutch capacity, a heavy-duty intermediate band, an updated 34-element sprag, hydraulic corrections, valve-body repairs, applicable TransGo and Sonnax updates, an updated pump and new internal electronics.

Does the Twisted Pro 4L80E include a torque converter?

Yes. A performance gas lockup torque converter is included. Converter stall and lockup configuration are matched to the engine, vehicle weight, gearing, tire size and intended use.

Can the Twisted Pro 4L80E be used in an LS swap?

Yes. The Pro build is a strong choice for higher-powered LS swaps when the transmission, torque converter, controller, wiring and calibration are properly matched to the vehicle.

Are new internal electronics included?

Yes. A new EPC solenoid, shift solenoids, TCC solenoid, internal wiring harness and applicable sensors are installed and matched to the required transmission year and application.

Is the Twisted Pro 4L80E available in 2WD and 4WD?
