The Twisted Pro™ 6R140 builds on our Street™ package for modified gas trucks, heavier towing, tuned applications, oversized tires and severe-duty use.

The Pro steps up to GPZ performance clutches, Kolene steels and a standard Sonnax hydraulic upgrade package for increased clutch holding capacity, heat resistance and hydraulic control.

VIN REQUIRED

Ford made multiple changes to the 6R140 throughout production. VIN and application are verified for the correct valve body, separator plate, output configuration, converter and calibration.

INSTALLATION & PROGRAMMING

The Solenoid Body Strategy and ID supplied with the transmission must be verified during installation.

Installer requirements:

✔ Verify supplied Solenoid Body Strategy/ID

✔ Program the supplied strategy if required

✔ Reset transmission adaptive values / Keep Alive Memory as required

✔ Complete the Ford adaptive relearn procedure

✔ Verify fluid level at the proper operating temperature

✔ Flush and flow-test cooler and cooler lines before operation

Modified vehicles require proper engine/transmission calibration for power level, tire size, axle ratio and intended use.
