VIN REQUIRED

Ford made multiple changes to the 6R140 throughout production.

Customer VIN and application are used to verify the required valve body, separator plate, clutch configuration, output configuration, converter and calibration.

We build to the application, not the donor core.

INSTALLATION & PROGRAMMING

No aftermarket performance tune is required for a stock vehicle.

Each transmission is supplied with the Solenoid Body Strategy and ID from the completed transmission. These values must be programmed into the vehicle during installation.

Installer requirements:

✔ Program the supplied Solenoid Body Strategy and ID into the vehicle

✔ Reset transmission adaptive values / Keep Alive Memory as required

✔ Complete the Ford adaptive relearn procedure

✔ Verify fluid level at the proper operating temperature

✔ Flush and flow-test cooler and cooler lines before operation

Modified vehicles require proper engine/transmission calibration for power level, tire size, axle ratio and intended use.
