700R4 Electronic Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)

Replacement electronic Vehicle Speed Sensor for compatible GM 700R4 / 4L60 transmissions equipped with an electronic VSS-style tailhousing and output-shaft reluctor.

The sensor installs in the transmission tailhousing and reads the internal output-shaft reluctor to generate a vehicle-speed signal.

Includes:

• VSS speed sensor

• Retaining bracket

Does NOT include:

• Output-shaft reluctor/tone ring

• Wiring/pigtail

• Speedometer interface or signal converter

• Tailhousing

Important: Your transmission must already be equipped with the correct output-shaft reluctor and compatible VSS tailhousing. This sensor by itself does not convert a mechanical speedometer 700R4 to electronic VSS.
