Generation 1 Chrysler 845RE transmissions utilize an integrated TCM/mechatronic system that may require initialization, programming updates, adaptive reset procedures, and Quick Learn functions after installation.
Final programming procedures typically must be completed with the transmission installed in the vehicle using Chrysler WiTech 2.0 software with an OE Micropod interface or approved J2534 pass-through device.
In most cases, this transmission is NOT considered fully plug-and-play.
