The Twisted Street™ C4 4x4 is our street-performance build for stock and mildly modified small-block Ford 4x4 applications.

Built for classic Ford 4x4s using the pan-fill C4 configuration that still need normal automatic operation with a clean, positive shift.

🔥 STREET CALIBRATION

This is a forward-pattern automatic C4, not a full-manual race transmission.

Put it in Drive and drive it.

The Street is calibrated for a clean, positive 1–2 and 2–3 shift without the harsh operation of a race valve body.

⚠️ PAN-FILL 4X4 APPLICATION

This transmission is built specifically for Pan-Fill C4 4x4 applications.

This is not the same fitment as our standard 2WD case-fill C4.

The standard Ford pan-fill C4 configuration uses the larger 164-tooth flexplate/bellhousing setup.

If your vehicle has had an engine, transmission, transfer case or drivetrain swap, please provide the configuration that is currently installed.

⚠️ TORQUE CONVERTER NOT INCLUDED

Please select a torque converter from the available options if one is needed.

SELECT A 164T CONVERTER OPTION FOR THIS TRANSMISSION.

The converter menu contains options for both 157T and 164T C4 applications. For this Pan-Fill 4x4 C4, select one of the 164T converter options:

• 164T Application – Stock Stall
• 164T Application – 1,800–2,200 Stall
• 164T Application – 2,200–2,600 Stall
• 164T Application – 2,600–3,000 Stall

Do not select a 157T converter for this Pan-Fill 4x4 application.

If you purchase a converter with your transmission, we will supply the correct converter spline configuration to match the C4 being built.

If you are reusing your existing converter, you MUST verify whether it is 24-spline or 26-spline before ordering.

Flexplate is NOT included.

⚠️ BELLHOUSING

This Pan-Fill C4 uses the 164T bellhousing configuration.

If you need a bellhousing, select:

164T Bell Housing

Do not select the 157T bellhousing option for this transmission.

⚠️ 4X4 FITMENT

Because these vehicles are decades old and many have been swapped or modified, we need to know what is currently in the vehicle.

Please provide:

• Year
• Make
• Model
• Engine
• Transfer Case
• Any known drivetrain swaps or modifications

Early Bronco C4 applications commonly use the Dana 20 transfer case. If you have a different transfer case or aftermarket adapter, please let us know when ordering.
