Transmission, bellhousing, starter and torque converter configuration must match the 164-tooth flexplate.

⚠️ C4 OWNERS: CHECK YOUR TOOTH COUNT

Not every C4 uses the same flexplate.

Some C4 applications use a 157-tooth flexplate, while others use the larger 164-tooth configuration.

If you're replacing an existing flexplate, verify the tooth count before ordering.

⚠️ 28 OZ OR 50 OZ? CHECK BEFORE ORDERING

Ford small-block engines did not all use the same external balance.

For typical factory configurations:

289 → 28 oz

302 through 1980 → 28 oz

351W / 5.8L → 28 oz

1981-up 302 / 5.0L → typically 50 oz

THE FLEXPLATE BALANCE MUST MATCH THE ENGINE'S ROTATING ASSEMBLY.

Do not select a flexplate by engine displacement alone.

Stroker engines, crate engines, aftermarket crankshafts, modified rotating assemblies and internally balanced engines may require a different flexplate than the original factory application.

If you're running a later 302 / 5.0L requiring 50 oz external balance, use our F220 164-Tooth 50 oz Flexplate instead.

🔩 TORQUE CONVERTER FITMENT

The torque converter bolt pattern must match the flexplate being used.
