The Twisted Street™ C5 Corvette 4L60E is our 450 HP build for stock and mildly modified automatic C5 Corvettes.

The C5 uses a rear-mounted Corvette-specific 4L60E. Our Street build addresses the areas we see wear and fail in these units, including the 3-4 clutch, 2-4 band, reaction shell, forward sprag, pump and valve body.

Rated up to 450 HP.

Automatic Transmission • RPO M30

The C5 uses a rear-mounted 4L60E connected to the engine through the torque tube.

Year and transmission configuration must be verified before ordering.

❌ C5 Z06

The C5 Z06 was not offered with the 4L60E automatic.

While the transmission is out, inspect:

🧊 COOLER REQUIREMENT

The transmission cooler and cooler lines must be flushed and checked for unrestricted flow before installation.

If the previous transmission contaminated the cooling system with metal or clutch material, replace the contaminated cooler.

Do not install a fresh 4L60E behind a dirty or restricted cooler.
