The Twisted Torque 5R110W Pro Diesel is built for 6.0L and 6.4L Power Stroke trucks running stock or mild performance upgrades. Whether you're towing, hauling or running a mild tune, Pro steps up the clutch holding capacity and converter strength without the expense of a full billet transmission.

Rated up to 550 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of engine torque, Pro builds on our Street Series with increased-capacity Raybestos GPZ clutch packs, HD steels, upgraded Direct clutch apply parts and a billet-cover performance converter at factory stall.

Every transmission starts with a complete teardown. We inspect the case, pump, drums, shafts and planetary assemblies, then rebuild it with new clutches, steels, bushings, seals and all-new internal electronics.

• Updated hardened steel pressure-regulator valve
• Pressure-regulator bore inspected and repaired as needed

FACTORY UPDATE: The updated pressure-regulator valve and pump repairs address known 5R110W pressure loss and pressure spikes that can lead to slipping, converter problems and burned clutches.

PERFORMANCE VALVE BODY & SHIFT KIT

• Complete valve-body teardown and rebuilding
• TransGo 5R110W shift kit
• Shift-control setup matched to the Pro clutch packs and converter
• Updated metal pressure-switch plugs with O-ring seals
• Updated converter clutch control and pressure-regulator parts

PRO UPGRADE: The TransGo shift kit and valve-body setup help maintain consistent clutch apply pressure under load. Updated pressure-switch plugs help prevent internal leaks that can burn clutch packs.

PRO UPGRADE: Street includes an OEM-style converter. Pro steps up to a billet-cover converter for increased cover strength and improved lockup holding capacity while maintaining factory-style driving characteristics.

Factory engine ratings for reference:

• 6.0L Power Stroke — up to 325 HP / 570 LB-FT
• 6.4L Power Stroke — up to 350 HP / 650 LB-FT

Both horsepower and engine torque must remain within the advertised limits. Trucks with aggressive tuning, larger injectors, upgraded turbos or higher torque output should consider our Punisher Diesel or a custom build.

TRANSMISSION TUNING & CALIBRATION

The Ford 5R110W is electronically controlled, and proper tuning plays an important role in shift timing, clutch apply pressure and torque converter lockup. Our transmissions are built to work with factory-compatible programming, but trucks running aftermarket engine tunes or modified power levels may require transmission tuning adjustments.

Excessive line pressure, aggressive shift settings or improper converter lockup can damage even an upgraded transmission. Please advise our team of any existing tuning or engine modifications before ordering. Custom tuning is not included.
