⚠️ TRANSMISSION PATTERN MATTERS

Do not order an adapter based only on the transmission name.

Ford 4R70W, 6R80 and 10R80 transmissions can use different engine-side configurations depending on their original application.

The PAFO101 is designed for the appropriate Ford Modular-pattern transmission configuration.

Verify the transmission model, original application and bellhousing pattern before ordering.

Performance Adapters specifies Grade 8 or higher hardware throughout the kit.

🔩 .500" 6061 BILLET ADAPTER PLATE

The heart of the PAFO101 is a precision-machined 6061 billet aluminum adapter plate measuring only 0.50" thick.

Its compact design eliminates the need to cut, grind or modify the transmission bellhousing for the adapter installation.

Instead of using a bulky torque-converter spacer, the system uses a custom crank spacer to establish the required drivetrain geometry while retaining the appropriate Ford flexplate configuration.

⚡ HIGH-TORQUE MINI STARTER INCLUDED

The PAFO101 includes the required high-torque mini starter.

Performance Adapters rates the supplied starter for engines with compression ratios up to 14:1.

That means the starter solution is already incorporated into the adapter system rather than leaving you to figure out starter placement after the transmission is installed.

🎛️ US SHIFT STANDALONE CONTROLLERS AVAILABLE

Modern electronically controlled Ford transmissions require proper transmission control when installed into a vehicle that did not originally use them.

Depending on the transmission selected, we can pair your adapter kit with the appropriate US Shift standalone controller available directly from Twisted Torque.

Controller and TPS requirements depend on the transmission, engine management system and induction setup being used.

🔧 FLEXPLATE & ENGINE BALANCE

The correct flexplate must match the engine's rotating assembly balance.

For common Ford small-block combinations:

0 oz / Neutral Balance

Internally balanced aftermarket rotating assemblies

Twisted Torque offers Ford 164-tooth 28 oz, 50 oz and neutral-balance flexplates for properly matched applications.

⚠️ VERIFY ENGINE BALANCE

Stroker engines, crate engines, aftermarket crankshafts and custom rotating assemblies may use a different balance than the original factory engine.

Do not select a flexplate by engine displacement alone.

If you're unsure, verify the balance specification with your engine builder before ordering.
