Additional brackets, fittings, driveshaft modifications or TV geometry correction hardware may be required depending on the vehicle and combination.

⚠️ TV CABLE SETUP IS CRITICAL

The TV cable on a 700R4 is NOT just a kickdown cable.

It controls transmission pressure in relation to throttle position. Incorrect cable geometry or adjustment can cause low line pressure, burned 3-4 clutches, band failure and rapid transmission damage.

Correct TV cable geometry and adjustment are mandatory.

Improper TV cable setup is an installation issue and is not covered as a transmission manufacturing defect.

Horsepower isn't the only thing that matters. Vehicle weight, torque, traction, gearing and how the vehicle is used all affect what the transmission has to handle.

For high-torque boosted combinations or severe-duty use, additional hard-part upgrades including an HD / billet input shaft may be required.
