The Twisted Street™ 700R4 Overdrive Conversion Package is built for customers replacing an older 2-speed or 3-speed automatic and wanting overdrive without piecing the swap together one part at a time.

You get our Twisted Street™ 700R4, 1650 stall lockup converter and the conversion parts commonly needed to get the swap installed and set up correctly.

Built for stock and mildly modified street cars and light trucks making up to 400 HP.

The 700R4 has a few areas we don't leave stock. The 3-4 clutch, 2-4 band, sprag, sun shell, pump and hydraulic system are all addressed during the build.

The goal is good line pressure, positive clutch and band apply and clean shifts without unnecessary slip.

The TV cable bracket and geometry correction are matched to the carburetor or throttle-body setup whenever applicable.

Additional fittings, driveshaft modifications or vehicle-specific hardware may be required depending on what you're converting from and the vehicle.

⚠️ TV CABLE SETUP IS CRITICAL

The TV cable on a 700R4 is NOT just a kickdown cable.

It controls transmission pressure in relation to throttle position.

Incorrect TV cable geometry or adjustment can cause low line pressure, burned 3-4 clutches, band failure and rapid transmission damage.

Correct TV cable geometry and adjustment are mandatory.

Improper TV cable setup is an installation issue and is not covered as a transmission manufacturing defect.
